Water treatment systems are devised to eliminate uranium and radium from water sources. Reverse Osmosis System and Ion Exchange System are the preferred solutions to address this issue. Through Reverse Osmosis System, uranium and radium is trapped in a semi-permeable membrane where only pure, clean water can pass through. Meanwhile, ION exchange process occurs wherein radium and uranium are replaced with other safe molecules through a resin bed.
